The world of camera phones was hit by the 8MP fever a while ago. We have already seen the INNOV8 from Samsung, which we really liked, even though it was expensive. We have also seen Sony Ericsson's 8MP camera phone - the C905. The phone was impressive but a bit overpriced, and still is, even after a 5k price cut.
The 8MP camera that we are reviewing today is yet again from Samsung and is called the Pixon M8800, and seems to be more of a multimedia feature phone. So let's see what it has to offer and whether it is a better 8MP camera phone compared to the others.

Aside from trying to develop Android, soon to have a possible name change, powered devices, what Motorola’s also got under their sleeves is an Integrated Digital Enhanced Network or iDEN device that features a full QWERTY keyboard. The i465, dubbed the Clutch, may be a low end device but meets military-specs for extreme conditions including shock, vibration, dust, and solar radiation.
It’s Motorola’s first device that combines the power of push-to-talk and the convenience of QWERTY keyboard with shortcut keys and software upgrades such as IM-style texting. This type of texting allows for an all-in-one view of incoming and outgoing messages. Other features include –
- A 1.79-inch TFT LCD with a 128 x 160 pixel resolution and 64k colors
- VGA Camera with video capture
- Audio Player
- 20 MB user available memory
- Bluetooth 1.2, micro USB
- 2.5mm audio jack (mono)
